Blue is a friendly and affectionate rescue dog with a playful personality and a love of adventure. Social, active, and great with other dogs, he is ready to find his forever home.
About Blue
Out of a litter of eight puppies rescued, only two are still waiting for their forever homes. Blue is one of them. While his siblings have started new lives around the world, Blue remains at the rescue, patiently hoping his turn will come. Adopt Blue and help him begin the next chapter of his story.
Blue’s story began when we received reports of a litter of puppies living near a rubbish dump on the side of the road. Concerned for their safety, we went to investigate and discovered eight tiny puppies, estimated to be around four weeks old. They were living in dangerous conditions with no sign of their mother. Whether she had been separated from them or had met an unfortunate fate, we may never know, but it was clear that the puppies could not survive there alone.
The litter was brought into our care, where they received the food, medical treatment, and safety they desperately needed. Despite their difficult beginning, they quickly showed themselves to be resilient, affectionate, and full of life. Watching them grow from vulnerable puppies into healthy young dogs has been an incredible journey.
As the months passed, Blue and his siblings flourished. One by one, most of the litter found wonderful homes around the world. Purple travelled to Norway, Green found a home in Bangkok, Teal was adopted in Germany, and Pink and Milk were welcomed by families here on Koh Tao. Sadly, not every story had a happy ending. Yellow passed away following a poisoning incident, leaving a heartbreaking gap in the family.
Today, only Blue and his brother Red remain at the rescue, still waiting for the forever homes they deserve.
Blue has grown into a handsome, athletic dog with a wonderful personality. He is incredibly friendly and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. He shares a close bond with his canine friends, particularly Sadie, Sam-den, Red, and Squeak, and loves socialising and playing with them throughout the day.
One of Blue’s favourite things in the world is running. He is fast, energetic, and loves having space to stretch his legs and explore. Whether he’s joining volunteers on walks, playing with his friends, or racing around the exercise areas, Blue approaches life with enthusiasm and joy.
Like many young rescue dogs, Blue is still developing some of his skills. He can become excited when out on walks and occasionally pulls on the lead, but he continues to improve with training and consistency. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and responds well to positive reinforcement. With patience and guidance, we have no doubt he will continue to mature into an exceptional companion.
Despite his active side, Blue is also affectionate and enjoys spending time close to people he trusts. He loves attention, enjoys being included in daily activities, and has a gentle nature that makes him a pleasure to be around.
Blue is fully vaccinated, neutered, and in excellent health. He would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, continued training, and plenty of opportunities for adventure and companionship. In return, he will reward his family with loyalty, affection, and years of friendship.
After spending most of his life growing up in rescue, Blue is more than ready for a place to call home. We would love to see him finally experience what it means to have a family of his own—a family that will cherish him, include him in their lives, and never let him feel unwanted again.
Blue has waited patiently for his chance. Could you be the person who finally gives him the forever home he deserves?
