Lily

Adopt Lily, a sweet and affectionate rescue dog who is ready to find a family to call her own. Friendly, playful, and always happy to make new friends, Lily has grown into a wonderful young dog who deserves the chance to experience life outside of rescue.

Lily was born in a nearby Burmese village as part of a litter of ten puppies. Unfortunately, the area was already home to a large number of dogs, and there simply weren’t enough resources available to provide every puppy with the care and opportunities they deserved.

When the puppies were still very young, we stepped in to help. Through our sterilisation and adoption programmes, we work closely with local communities to reduce the number of unwanted litters and give dogs a better chance at finding safe and loving homes. Lily and her siblings were brought into our care where they could grow up healthy, socialised, and ready for adoption.

Over the years, most of Lily’s brothers and sisters have found families of their own. One by one they left the rescue to begin new adventures, while Lily remained patiently waiting for her turn.

Despite spending much of her life in rescue, Lily has never lost her cheerful outlook. She approaches life with enthusiasm and is always eager to be involved in whatever is happening around her. She loves meeting people and is often one of the first dogs to greet visitors.

Lily has a wonderfully affectionate personality and enjoys spending time close to people. Whether she’s following volunteers around the rescue, joining group walks, or simply relaxing nearby, she enjoys being part of everyday life.

She is also playful and enjoys spending time with the other dogs. She loves games, toys, and opportunities to burn off energy with her friends. Her friendly nature means she generally gets on well with everyone she meets.

As she has matured, Lily has grown into a confident, loving companion who would thrive in a home where she can continue learning and experiencing new things. She is still young enough to enjoy adventures but has also developed the calm and affectionate qualities that make a wonderful family dog.

After watching so many of her siblings find homes, we would love nothing more than to see Lily finally get her chance. She has so much love to give and is ready to become someone’s loyal best friend.
